Symptoms and Problems Treated by IAEBP Members

Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy can help a huge range of anxiety related disorders or emotional problems including stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, weight control and feeling depressed.  There are frequently occurring underlying issues, for instance a fear of motorway travel is usually driven by a huge anxiety at being out of control.  Such an anxiety can come out in lots of different ways and produce different specific symptoms.

There are times when the symptoms relate to particular difficulties or trauma in early life – which is where therapies that repair the subconscious emotional learnings become most relevant.  But it is also common that symptoms are effectively driven, or sustained, by over-thinking or a tendency to brood or obsess.  When this is the case, learning to manage your thinking better is the way forward – though possibly after dealing with the traumatic events first.

The following is a list of SOME of the symptoms, problems, phobias, fears, anxieties and physical conditions other problems that can be successfully helped by IAEBP therapists.
